BASF, Danone and L’Oréal receive FIR-Vigeo Prize for Responsible Employers
For its second edition, the FIR-Vigeo Prize is awarded to companies with responsible employment practices. It is given to a company from the CAC 40 and STOXX Europe 50 having best integrated corporate social responsibility into the domains of human resources, human rights, and the prevention of social dumping in its supply chain.
The awards ceremony took place on 12 October, during SRI week at the Investment Forum of Paris, during the Paris-Europlace Forum.
The recipients of this year’s FIR-Vigeo award are as follows:
- Danone, represented by Vice President and Deputy Director General Emmanuel Faber in the CAC 40 category
- BASF, represented by Chairman of the Board Kurt Bock in the STOXX 50 category
- The Special Jury Prize FIR-Vigeo for 2012 was awarded to L’Oréal, represented by Director General of Operations Jean-Philippe Blanpain, for the business having best integrated CSR principles into its supply chain management
