Vigeo Eiris is recruiting an ESG Analyst

Permanent contract / full time / ASAP / Paris (Bagnolet - line 3 Gallieni)

Missions :

The ESG Analyst develops knowledge on Vigeo Eiris Rating Framework, sectors and themes. The analyst produces ESG research in line with our quality standards and processes for a given company portfolio, leads sectors rated within the pole, and contributes to research activities serving Companies and our SRI Clients.

Under the direction of the Research Manager, the ESG Analyst will be responsible for:

Research and analysis

  • Collect and analyse all relevant available information and documentation on the companies under their responsibility
  • Establish relevant contacts with companies under their responsibility and their stakeholders to obtain additional information
  • Analyze, rate, compare the ESG performances of companies under their responsibility according to Vigeo Eiris processes and quality standards
  • Deliver the research expected in due time
  • Produce associated alerts
  • Contribute to the quality reviews conducted within the pole

Sector and theme knowledge development and sharing

  • Monitor key sectors challenges and trends
  • Develop knowledge on ESG challenges associated to sectors and share it internally
  • Develop knowledge on Vigeo Eiris Rating Framework and on ESG themes and share it internally
  • Contribute to the production of research pieces derivated from ESG Research: derivative products, research papers, etc
  • Draft answers to questions from internal or external stakeholders (companies or clients) on the research conducted under their responsibility

Support the development of research activities

  • Contribute to the tutoring of new collaborators (information collection, rating process, analysis)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our tools, processes and methodology for maintaining our quality standards and improving the efficiency of our activities
  • Contribute to projects of development (organisation, methodology, processes, research, etc)

Experience, skills and qualifications required :

  • Education BAC+5 with a CSR speciality
  • Interest for CSR issues
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English (Vigeo working language)
  • Other language appreciated
  • Capable of ensuring high quality information collection and synthesis
  • Analytical skills (clarity, relevance, consistency, care)
  • Rigorous
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Capacity to find a balance between productivity expectations and quality (time management)
  • Ability to work autonomously, under the supervision and support of a team
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with Office tools
