BEFIMMO’s Green Finance SPO Provided by V.E

V.E, part of Moody’s ESG Solutions, has provided a Second Party Opinion (SPO) on BEFIMMO’s Green Finance Framework. The framework has been designed to govern the issuance of the Green Bonds, Green Private Placements or Green Bank Financing (the “Green Instruments”) to finance and/or refinance Eligible Projects falling into two Eligible Categories, namely: Green Buildings and Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy.

We assigned a Second Party Opinion (SPO) on the sustainability credentials and management of BEFIMMO’s Green Finance Framework. V.E considers that this Framework is aligned with the four core components of the ICMA’s Green Bond Principles 2021 (“GBP”) and the LMA’s Green Loan Principles 2021 (“GLP”). We express an advanced assurance on the contribution of these Green Instruments to sustainability.

Befimmo is a real-estate operator specialising in office buildings, meeting centres and coworking spaces. Its property portfolio focuses on investments in office buildings located in Belgium and Luxembourg. Befimmo was founded in 1995 and is based in Brussels, Belgium.
