In June, Apple, AOL, Dropbox, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, PalTalk, Skype (Microsoft), Twitter, Yahoo! and YouTube (Google) were accused of allowing intelligence services to access their servers to retrieve data about users, throught the monitoring programme (PRISM) endorsed by the Obama administration.
