Women and Girls Empowerment Initiative launches in V.E Morocco
V.E Morocco is proud to launch a new initiative focused on Women and Girls Empowerment. In doing so, we acknowledge the vital role of women in our society. As of 1st March 2021, female employees at V.E Morocco represent 71% of our workforce. We firmly believe that women are more powerful when they empower one other.
The three pillars of the initiative will be:
• Promoting women’s social and professional integration
• Preventing Young girls’ education-discontinuation
• Supporting Women’s health
For each of these pillars, V.E Morocco will work and explore local partnerships to better support the empowerment of women and girls.
“At V.E Morocco we believe that women and girls are key actors of sustainability, and that they need more support, engagement, and commitment. By implementing this initiative, we aim to further promote the role of women and girls in the community and enhance their role as African development drivers.” – Ghizlaine Nourlil, Head of African & Middle East Markets
